Founded in 1970 in the heart of Rioja Alta, Marques de Caceres has been the pioneer of modern style Rioja wines with intense colour, rich fruit and delicious tannins. This crianza red wine is made from hand-picked tempranillo grapes with a small proportion of graciano and garnacha, selected from Rioja's finest vineyards. Aged for 16 months in French and American oak barrels, followed by at least 14 months in the bottle, this wine reveals delicious black fruit flavours balanced by a delicate touch of vanilla and spice. A perfect accompaniment to all kinds of foods, especially Mediterranean cuisine, vegetables, pasta, rice and meat dishes, and fine cheeses.
