Suffolk-born Chris Pask and daughter Tessa McKay set up their estate in 1985 on the gravelly soils of the North Island's Gimblett Road and have triumphed ever since. Thanks to the efforts of winemaker Kate Radburnd, the winery has reeled in scores of awards, including a Wine Challenge trophy. The rich toasty oak, spicy clove and fresh mango characters in this full-flavoured Chardonnay finish on a fresh, citrusy note. Great with gammon or roast chicken.
