This is a rarity, claret without compromise, and we are very proud of it. Terrific value at the price: an earthy Bordeaux nose and marvellous fruit intensity balanced by soft tannins. Doughty Christine Courrian of the Médoc's Chateau Chantelys is dedicated to quality and observing tradition. She uses no unnecessary inputs on her vineyards, grapes are hand-picked and harvest remains a time for celebration. Her wines are matured in aged casks as new oak is considered too aggressive.
