Founded over 300 years ago by a nostalgic ex-Rhine-dweller, this historic estate has been propelled to global prominence by winemaker Adi Badenhorst. He's been the catalyst for innovations such as aerial x-raying of vines to assess grape ripeness, and conveyor belts that grade out imperfect grapes. Adi left this vibrant Chardonnay unoaked, to emphasise its distinctive flavours of poached pears, white peaches, melons and ginger. One for salmon.
